How to test the antistatic wrist band?

*The tutorial is using MT-100 as an example, it can also be done by using the volt‑ohm‑milliammeter.

First, plug the banana jack of the testing cord into the tester.

Cordless wrist band

1. Clip the other end of the testing cord onto the band.

2. Hold the wrist band and make sure the skin is touching band itself without touching the metal clip of the testing cord.

3. Push the button, if the green light is on, the wrist band is working properly.

Wired wrist band

1. Snap the cord onto the wrist band.

2. Put the wrist band on or hold it directly, just make sure it is touching your skin.

3. Push the button, if the green light is on, the wrist band is working properly.
